9 US AI Startups That Secured $100M+ in Funding in 2025

For the AI sector both domestically and internationally, last year was historic.

In 2024, 49 startups secured investment rounds totaling at least $100 million. Seven companies raised rounds of $1 billion or more last year, while three companies raised several "mega-rounds."

What will 2025 be like? Even though the year is still early, there are now nearly ten U.S. AI businesses that have raised more than $100 million, and one round has already garnered more than $1 billion.

Here are all the U.S. AI companies that have raised more than $100 million so far this year.

  • The startup was valued at $61.5 billion after raising $3.5 billion in a Series E financing from the AI research and huge language model company Anthropic. Lightspeed led the investment, which was revealed on March 3. Salesforce Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and General Catalyst were among the other investors.

  • Pittsburgh-based Abridge , an AI-driven platform specializing in transcribing patient-clinician conversations, secured a $250 million Series D funding round on February 17, bringing its valuation to $2.75 billion. The round was co-led by IVP and Elad Gil, with participation from Lightspeed, Redpoint, Spark Capital, and others.
  • In a Series A investment led by General Catalyst, the AI legal tech startup Eudia raised $105 million. Along with other venture capital firms and a large number of angel investors, the round also included participation from Floodgate, Defy Ventures, and Everywhere Ventures. On February 13, the round ended.
  • Santa Clara-based **EnCharge AI**, an AI hardware startup, secured a $100 million Series B funding round, which closed on February 13. The round was led by Tiger Global, with participation from Scout Ventures, Samsung Ventures, RTX Ventures, and others. Founded in 2022, EnCharge AI continues to drive innovation in AI computing.
  • The three-year-old AI legal tech company Harvey raised $300 million in a Series D investment, valuing the business at $3 billion. Sequoia led the round, which was revealed on February 12. Elad Gil, Kleiner Perkins, the OpenAI Startup Fund, and others took part in the fundraising event.
  • ElevenLabs , a synthetic voice startup, raised $180 million in a Series C funding, valuing the business at over $3 billion. The announcement was made on January 30. Andreessen Horowitz and ICONIQ Growth co-led the financing. The financing also included participation from Sequoia, NEA, Salesforce Ventures, and other firms.
  • On January 9, Hippocratic AI , a company that creates large language models for the healthcare sector, announced a $141 million Series B financing. Kleiner Perkins led this round, which valued the company at over $1.6 billion. Other participants included Andreessen Horowitz, Nvidia, and General Catalyst.
