Since its creation, AllTrails has been a firm favorite among those with a soft spot for the open air. In 2021, after raising an impressive $150 million in growth rounds, AllTrails became even more popular due to people seeking to reconnect with nature during the pandemic-induced lockdowns. Also, it's of note that Apple, in a bit of an untimely move, stepped on AllTrails' turf just as it was named App of the Year. AllTrails revived its spirit and looked to appeal to its most ardent and active members with a plethora of new features in its latest update.
