Google offers standalone NotebookLM apps for iOS and Android
Google started the week with some exciting news. It officially unveiled the NotebookLM mobile apps for both Android and iOS users on a Monday, just a day shy of both Google I/O 2025 and its previously stated rollout plan.
From its inception in 2023, Google's AI-enhanced note-taking software, NotebookLM, was a desktop-only service. Now, Google's brought its virtual assistant right into your pocket.
Designed to simplify the complex, NotebookLM's intelligent capabilities include providing concise content summaries and the capacity to answer questions posed on documents and other resources.

Other app features include the access to Audio Overviews; NotebookLM's AI-crafted podcasts derived from your chosen materials. Additionally, these overviews are playable in the background and are accessible offline.
The mobile app empowers individuals to create and manage notebooks on the fly. Moreover, you can effortlessly share a website, PDF, or YouTube video directly to your NotebookLM and save it as a new source. You can also revisit your material sources in every notebook that you have.
For an optimized visual experience, the NotebookLM mobile app offers a user-sensitive light and dark mode.
We could hear more about the app's launch at Google's I/O event on Tuesday, given the synchrony of dates.
